Devonian Gardens (CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS)
The Devonian Gardens opened in 1977, as a state-of-the-art facility attracting worldwide attention. Currently being renovated, the gardens are expected to re-open summer of 2010.

Shaw Millennium Park
Built in 2004, this popular skate park also has beach ball and volleyball courts and hosts various festivals during the summer.

Stanley Park
With access to the Elbow River, this park features water fountains, an outdoor swimming pool, picnic areas with BBQ pits, and playground areas for the children.

Edworthy Park
This 70-acre historic spot has been used as a bison kill site, a tipi camp, a commercial garden, a brick factory and a sandstone quarry. Today, the park is the ideal setting for family picnickers, cyclists, rollerbladers and hikers. The popular Douglas Fir Trail leads through a forest of fir trees, some older than 400 years.

Glenmore Park
Glenmore Park covers an area of 347 hectares and borders the south side of the Glenmore reservoir, one can enjoy a picnic, walk, bike ride or even a days sailing on the reservoir.

Calgary's 2nd largest park, and one of Canada's largest municipal parks. Located 15 minutes from downtown by car. Escape the city and enjoy hundreds of km's of trails over the 11 sq. km area that Nose Hill covers.

Fish Creek Park
Welcome to Canada's largest urban park, a rich natural reserve with deep historical roots.
